Using coif
By installing or using coif (“the coif app,” “the Service”), you agree to these terms. coif is an AI hair visualisation tool built and operated by Apphive Technologies. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Previews are illustrative — not guarantees. Real-world results depend on your hair’s starting length, texture, color, and your stylist’s execution. Always discuss feasibility with a licensed professional before a major cut or color change.
Subscriptions & refunds
Pro Monthly, Pro Annual, Credit Pack, and Lifetime are billed through the Apple App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled through Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Lifetime purchases grant permanent access to the subscriber benefits listed on the pricing page at the time of purchase; future premium features may or may not be included at our discretion. Credit packs have no expiry but are non-transferable. All payments, taxes, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms. Contact Apple for refund requests.
Content
You own the selfies you submit and the generated looks you export. You grant coif a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process your photo for the sole purpose of returning a preview to you. coif does not claim ownership of your face, your hair, or any result generated from your photo. We do not use your content to train AI models. You are responsible for respecting the rights of anyone appearing in a photo you upload.
Acceptable use
You may not use coif to generate previews of other people without their permission, to impersonate anyone, to harass or harm any person, or to attempt to reverse-engineer or abuse the generation service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or applicable law.
Limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI previews are visualisations and may differ from the result produced by a real stylist. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apphive Technologies and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of coif — including dissatisfaction with a haircut, colour treatment, or styling decision you made after viewing a preview. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of coif will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then through the competent courts of Bengaluru, India. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change. Material changes will be surfaced in the app before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
